Panda Profit Whatnot Addon

The Trashed Panda respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Panda Profit Whatnot Addon (“Application” or “App”) accesses, uses, stores, and transmits information when you use the software.
The Panda Profit Whatnot Addon is designed to operate primarily on your local computer and works directly with your installed copy of Panda Profit.
Information the Application Accesses
Panda Profit Inventory Data
The Application accesses information from your locally installed Panda Profit database as needed to prepare inventory for export to Whatnot. This may include:
- Item titles
- SKUs
- Categories
- Costs
- Quantities
- Listed dates
- Item notes
- Other inventory attributes
The Whatnot Addon accesses Panda Profit inventory in read-only mode and does not modify your original Panda Profit inventory data.
Configuration Data
The Application may store information you enter or select while preparing your Whatnot listings, including:
- Whatnot categories and subcategories
- Pricing
- Conditions
- Shipping profiles
- Item descriptions
- Listing settings
- Application preferences
This information is stored locally on your computer.
Images
The Application may process product images that you select for use with your Whatnot listings.
Depending on the image-hosting option you configure, selected images may be uploaded to a supported third-party image-hosting service.
Only images you select for upload are sent to the configured image-hosting provider.
Your original image files remain on your computer and are not transferred to The Trashed Panda for storage.
Third-Party Image Hosting
The Application may support third-party image-hosting services, including ImgBB and Imgur.
When you choose to use one of these services:
- Selected images are transmitted to that service.
- The third-party provider processes and stores those images according to its own privacy policy and terms.
- The Trashed Panda does not control the third party’s storage, retention, availability, or use of uploaded images.
You are responsible for reviewing and accepting the privacy policies and terms of any third-party image-hosting service you choose to use.
Use of third-party image hosting is optional and depends on the configuration and features you select.
Local Data Storage
The Panda Profit Whatnot Addon is designed to store its application settings and configuration data locally on your computer.
This may include:
- Listing configurations
- Shipping profiles
- Application preferences
- Image-hosting settings
- Other settings required for Application functionality
The Trashed Panda does not maintain a cloud copy of your Panda Profit inventory database through the Whatnot Addon.
Information Sent Over the Internet
Although the Application primarily operates locally, certain features require an internet connection.
Information may be transmitted when you:
- Upload product images to a third-party image-hosting provider
- Check for Application updates
- Use other features that require communication with an online service
Your complete Panda Profit inventory database is not uploaded to The Trashed Panda by the Whatnot Addon.
Application Updates
The Application may connect to The Trashed Panda’s servers to check whether a newer version of the software is available.
An update check may include technical information necessary to determine whether an update is available, such as the currently installed Application version.
Inventory data, product images, and listing contents are not required for an update check.
Local Logs
The Application may create local log files for troubleshooting and normal operation.
These logs remain on your computer unless you choose to provide them to The Trashed Panda for technical support.
If you submit logs or other diagnostic information for support, we will use that information only as reasonably necessary to investigate your support request.
How We Use Information
Information accessed by the Application is used to provide its intended functionality, including:
- Reading inventory from Panda Profit
- Preparing items for Whatnot
- Saving your listing configurations
- Processing product images
- Generating Whatnot-compatible CSV files
- Providing Application updates
- Troubleshooting technical issues
We do not use your Panda Profit inventory data to create advertising or behavioral profiles.
We do not sell your Panda Profit inventory data.
Data Retention and Deletion
Most information created by the Whatnot Addon is stored locally on your computer.
You may remove locally stored Application data by using available reset or deletion options or by uninstalling/removing the associated local Application data.
Uninstalling the Whatnot Addon does not necessarily remove information stored by Panda Profit itself.
Images uploaded to a third-party image-hosting provider may remain subject to that provider’s retention and deletion policies.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures when designing and maintaining the Application to protect information handled by the software.
However, no computer system, internet transmission, or third-party service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your computer, accounts, passwords, image-hosting credentials, and other services you connect to the Application.
Children’s Privacy
The Panda Profit Whatnot Addon is intended as a reseller and business tool and is not directed toward children.
We do not knowingly use the Application to collect personal information from children.
Third-Party Services and Websites
The Application may interact with or provide functionality intended for use with third-party services.
Third-party services operate independently and have their own privacy policies, terms, and data-handling practices. The Trashed Panda is not responsible for the privacy practices, availability, security, or policies of third-party services.
We encourage you to review the applicable policies before using any third-party service.
Whatnot Affiliation Disclaimer
The Trashed Panda and Panda Profit are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Whatnot.
The Panda Profit Whatnot Addon is an independently developed third-party tool designed to assist Panda Profit users with preparing inventory for use with Whatnot.
Whatnot and its related names, trademarks, logos, products, and services are the property of their respective owners.
Use of Whatnot remains subject to Whatnot’s own terms, privacy policies, requirements, and other applicable policies.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the Application changes, when third-party integrations change, or when necessary to reflect changes in our practices or applicable requirements.
When this policy is updated, the Last Updated date at the top of this page will be revised.
We encourage users to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
