Licensing & Activation

Q: How do I activate my license?

A:

  1. Purchase Panda Print from The Trashed Panda.
  2. You’ll receive your Panda Print license key.
  3. Launch Panda Print.
  4. Go to Settings → License.
  5. Enter your license key.
  6. Click Activate.

An internet connection is required for license validation.

Q: Can I use my license on multiple computers?

A: A standard Panda Print license is intended for one computer.

If you need Panda Print on multiple computers, additional licenses may be required. Contact support@thetrashedpanda.com if you have questions about multi-computer licensing.

Q: What if I receive a “License registered for different app” error?

A: Panda Suite applications use separate licenses. A license issued for another Panda Suite application cannot be used to activate Panda Print.

Make sure you’re entering the license issued specifically for Panda Print.

Q: Does my Panda Print license expire?

A: Panda Print is sold with a perpetual software license, meaning there is no recurring subscription required for the licensed version of Panda Print.

Periodic license validation or reactivation may be required for security and license-management purposes.

A: Yes. A valid Panda Print license is required to use the application.

Using Panda Print

Q: How do I start monitoring my Whatnot show?

A:

  1. Open Panda Print.
  2. Go to Settings → Seller Account.
  3. Enter your Whatnot seller username exactly as it appears on Whatnot.
  4. Select your printer and configure your label preferences.
  5. Click START WATCHING.
  6. Run your Whatnot show normally.

When Panda Print detects supported sale activity, it can automatically generate and print the appropriate label.

Q: Do I need to change anything in Whatnot’s dashboard?

A: Panda Print is designed to monitor supported Whatnot live-sale activity without requiring you to manually enter every sale into Panda Print.

Configure your seller username in Panda Print and run your show normally.

Q: Can I run Panda Print on my phone or tablet?

A: No. Panda Print is a Windows desktop application.

Q: Can I use Panda Print with multiple Whatnot seller accounts?

A: A standard Panda Print installation is configured for a seller account.

If you operate multiple seller accounts or need multiple simultaneous Panda Print installations, contact support@thetrashedpanda.com to discuss your setup.

Q: Does Panda Print need to remain running during my show?

A: Yes. Panda Print must remain running while you want it to monitor your show and automatically process labels.

You may use other applications or minimize Panda Print, but do not close the application while you want monitoring to continue.

Q: Can I pause Panda Print during my show?

A: Yes. Use Panda Print’s monitoring controls to pause and resume monitoring when needed.

Printing & Labels

Q: What label sizes does Panda Print support?

A: Panda Print supports preset and custom label sizes, allowing you to configure labels for your particular printer and workflow.

Q: What information can appear on a label?

A: Depending on your settings and the selected label configuration, Panda Print can display information such as:

  • Buyer username
  • Item name
  • Item number
  • Optional box number
  • Optional timestamp

Available information and layout may vary depending on your selected label size and Panda Print version.

Q: Can I change printers later?

A: Yes. You can change your selected printer and applicable label settings from Panda Print’s settings.

Q: Why aren’t my labels printing?

A: Check the following:

  1. Printer status: Make sure your printer is powered on and available in Windows.
  2. Panda Print: Make sure Panda Print is running.
  3. Monitoring: Verify that START WATCHING is active.
  4. Selected printer: Verify the correct printer is selected in Panda Print.
  5. Print Queue: Check for pending labels.
  6. Windows Print Queue: Check Windows for paused, failed, or stuck print jobs.

If necessary, restart Panda Print and your printer.

Q: My labels are printing incorrectly or upside-down. What should I check?

A: Verify:

  • Selected printer
  • Label dimensions
  • Printer orientation
  • Windows printer-driver settings
  • Panda Print label settings

Printer drivers vary between manufacturers, so some printers may require adjustments to their Windows driver settings.

Q: Panda Print says a label printed, but nothing came out of the printer. What should I do?

A: Check the Windows printer queue first.

Make sure the printer:

  • Is powered on
  • Has labels loaded
  • Is not paused or offline
  • Does not have a stuck print job

You can also use Windows to print a test page to verify that Windows can communicate with the printer.

Q: My printer isn’t showing up in Panda Print. What should I do?

A:

  1. Make sure the printer is connected to your computer or network.
  2. Install the manufacturer’s appropriate Windows printer driver.
  3. Verify that the printer appears in Windows printer settings.
  4. Restart Panda Print after installing or connecting the printer.

If Windows recognizes the printer but Panda Print does not, contact support.

Q: What is a box number?

A: Box numbering is an optional organizational feature that can help you keep track of purchases during fulfillment.

When enabled, Panda Print can assign or store box numbers and include them on applicable labels.

Print Queue & Sales History

Q: What is the Print Queue?

A: If a label cannot be successfully printed, Panda Print can retain it in the Print Queue.

After your printer becomes available again, you can use Panda Print’s queue controls to print pending labels.

Q: How many labels can the Print Queue hold?

A: Queue capacity depends primarily on the available storage and resources on your computer. For normal live-selling workflows, the queue is designed to handle multiple pending labels.

Q: Where are my Panda Print records stored?

A: Panda Print stores application data locally on your Windows computer.

The Panda Print data folder is generally located at:

%APPDATA%\PandaSuite\panda-print\

This may include files containing:

  • Sales and print history
  • Print Queue information
  • Application settings
  • License activation information

Q: What information is stored in my sales history?

A: Depending on the sale and application version, locally stored records may include:

  • Buyer username
  • Item name
  • Item number
  • Sale amount
  • Timestamp
  • Print status

Q: Can I access my sales data?

A: Panda Print stores its sales history locally in application data files. Advanced users can access these files directly.

Be careful when manually modifying Panda Print data files. Changing or deleting application data may cause information to be permanently lost or affect application functionality.

Q: How do I delete old sales records?

A: Local Panda Print data can be removed from the Panda Print application-data folder:

%APPDATA%\PandaSuite\panda-print\

Important: Deleting application files may permanently remove your sales history, settings, Print Queue, or other Panda Print information.

Back up anything you want to retain before deleting or modifying application files.

A:

  • Close unnecessary applications.

Privacy & Data

Q: What information does Panda Print process?

A: Depending on the features you use, Panda Print may process information such as:

  • Your configured Whatnot seller username
  • Buyer usernames
  • Item names and numbers
  • Sale information
  • Box numbers
  • Print history
  • License information

Sales and print-history information is primarily stored locally on your computer.

Q: Is my sales information stored in the cloud?

A: Panda Print is designed to store sales and print-history information locally on your computer rather than automatically uploading your sales history to The Trashed Panda’s servers.

Limited information is transmitted when necessary for functions such as license validation and supported Whatnot monitoring.

For complete information, please review the Panda Print Privacy Policy.

Q: Does The Trashed Panda sell my information?

A: No. The Trashed Panda does not sell or rent personal information collected through Panda Print.

Q: How is my Panda Print information protected?

A: Panda Print is designed to keep sales and print-history information locally on your computer rather than automatically uploading it to The Trashed Panda.

License-validation communications use encrypted HTTPS connections where supported.

Because Panda Print stores information locally, the security of that information also depends on the security of your Windows computer and user account.

Q: Can I delete my Panda Print data?

A: Yes.

Local Panda Print data is generally located at:

%APPDATA%\PandaSuite\panda-print\

Deleting this folder may permanently remove sales history, Print Queue information, settings, and other Panda Print data.

If you want to request deletion of license-related information maintained by The Trashed Panda, contact support@thetrashedpanda.com.

Q: Is Panda Print affiliated with Whatnot?

A: No.

Panda Print and The Trashed Panda are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Whatnot.

Whatnot is a third-party platform and is governed by its own terms, policies, and services.

Updates & Compatibility

Q: Is Panda Print compatible with Whatnot Live?

A: Panda Print is designed specifically for supported Whatnot live-selling workflows.

Because Whatnot is a third-party platform, changes to Whatnot’s systems may occasionally affect Panda Print functionality.

Q: What happens if Whatnot changes its platform?

A: We actively maintain Panda Print and work to maintain compatibility when changes to supported third-party platforms affect the application.

Because Whatnot is independently operated, uninterrupted compatibility cannot be guaranteed.

Q: Does Panda Print work with other auction platforms?

A: Panda Print currently focuses on Whatnot live selling.

Support for additional live-selling platforms may be considered in the future.

Q: Is an eBay Live version available?

A: Not currently. Support for additional live-selling platforms, including eBay Live, may be considered in the future.
