Pricing, Licensing & Renewal
How much does Panda Profit cost?
Panda Profit is $49.99 per calendar year.
Your license is valid through December 31 of the year purchased, regardless of when during that year you purchase it.
The license is not valid for 12 months from your purchase date.
For example, a license purchased in January 2026 and a license purchased in November 2026 will both expire on December 31, 2026.
To continue using Panda Profit in 2027, you will need to purchase and activate a new 2027 license.
Is Panda Profit a subscription?
Panda Profit uses an annual calendar-year licensing model.
Your license gives you access to Panda Profit through December 31 of the calendar year in which the license was purchased.
A new license must be purchased for each new calendar year if you want to continue using all Panda Profit features.
Is the license valid for one year from my purchase date?
No.
This is an important distinction: a Panda Profit annual license is valid for the calendar year, not for 12 months from the date you purchase it.
Every license expires on December 31 of the calendar year in which it was purchased.
Examples
- Purchase on January 15, 2026 → License expires December 31, 2026
- Purchase on June 1, 2026 → License expires December 31, 2026
- Purchase on November 15, 2026 → License expires December 31, 2026
A license purchased at any time during 2026 does not carry over into 2027.
To continue using Panda Profit in 2027, you will need to purchase and activate a new 2027 license.
When does my Panda Profit license expire?
All Panda Profit annual licenses expire on December 31 of the calendar year for which they were purchased.
Panda Profit does not calculate your expiration date as one year from your individual purchase date.
For example, a license purchased on March 10, 2026 and a license purchased on October 10, 2026 will both expire on December 31, 2026.
What happens after my license expires?
When your Panda Profit license expires after December 31, normal application functionality will be disabled.
You will still be able to open Panda Profit and view your P&L (Profit & Loss) statement.
This allows you to access your P&L information for accounting, tax, and recordkeeping purposes after the calendar year has ended.
The P&L statement is the only application function available with an expired license.
To restore all Panda Profit functions, you will need to purchase and activate a license for the new calendar year.
Can I still view my P&L statement after my license expires?
Yes.
Your P&L (Profit & Loss) statement will remain available for viewing after your license expires.
This is the only Panda Profit function that remains available with an expired license.
All other application functions will be disabled until a valid license for the new calendar year is purchased and activated.
Will my inventory or sales data be deleted when my license expires?
No.
Your Panda Profit database remains stored locally on your computer when your license expires.
Expiration of your license does not automatically delete your locally stored Panda Profit database.
While your license is expired, Panda Profit will allow you to view your P&L statement only. Other application functions will remain disabled until a new license is activated.
What happens when I purchase a license for the new calendar year?
Once your new license is activated, full Panda Profit functionality is restored.
Your existing locally stored database remains on your computer, allowing you to continue working with your inventory, sales, expenses, and other Panda Profit data.
Are software updates included?
Yes.
Panda Profit software updates released while your license is active are included at no additional charge.
Your access to included updates continues for the life of your active calendar-year license.
Do I have to pay extra when a new Panda Profit version is released?
No.
As long as you have an active Panda Profit license for the current calendar year, updates released during your active license period are included.

What information can Panda Profit track for my inventory?
Panda Profit helps keep important reseller inventory information organized in one place.
You can track information such as:
- SKU
- Item cost
- Category
- Brand

- Bin or storage location
- Sales information
Can Panda Profit automatically generate SKUs?
Yes.
Panda Profit can automatically generate SKUs using customizable numbering patterns and prefixes.
You can also enter and manage your own SKUs.
Can Panda Profit track where my inventory is stored?
Yes.
Items can be assigned to bins or storage locations so you know where an item is located when it sells.
This is especially useful for larger inventories stored across multiple bins, shelves, or storage areas.
Can I import my existing inventory?
Yes.

Unless a specific Panda Profit feature states otherwise, marketplace sales are manually entered into Panda Profit.
Does Panda Profit connect directly to my eBay account?
Panda Profit does not require a direct eBay account connection for normal inventory and manual sales tracking.
Can Panda Profit calculate my profit?

Where is my Panda Profit data stored?
Panda Profit uses a local SQLite database stored on your Windows computer.
Your inventory and sales database is not stored in a Panda Profit cloud database.
Is Panda Profit cloud-based?
No.
Your Panda Profit business database is stored locally on your computer.
Can I back up my Panda Profit database?
Yes.
Panda Profit includes database backup and restore tools.
You can create dated backups of your business database so your information can be restored if necessary.
Regular backups are strongly recommended.
What happens if my computer crashes?
If you have a current Panda Profit database backup, you can reinstall Panda Profit and restore your database.
Maintaining regular backups is strongly recommended to protect your business data from computer or drive failure.
Do I lose my data when I update Panda Profit?
Panda Profit updates are designed to preserve your existing database.
However, maintaining a current database backup before installing software updates is always recommended.
Can I move Panda Profit to another computer?
